... was quoted in yesterdays Evening Echo denying that he or anybody else on the three man club committee is demanding money to step away from the club as has apparently been rumoured. In fact Mr.O'Sullivan is quite hopeful of retaining an active role in the club even in the event of new people taking over. So make of all that what you will.

I think this could be a case of a rising tide lifts all boats and ends up with "ahh shur they wernt that bad." The club sec will be kept on id say by the new board but as for keeping th rest. O'Wafflesy was in the leader talking to some old guy from the limerick branch of the munster branch of the IRFU who didnt know if Limerick were going to be in Thomond park next year and he made 10 sentences out of it. a wizzard when it comes to waffle.

The people who take over need to break all ties with the current set-up as it will only lead to problems down the road if they don't. Granted the sec would need to be kept as they would need someone experienced in this role, at the beginning at least.

Not surprised by this rumour, alot of people predicted it after the PLC. Then again, could be just rumour.
