Exclusive in the star today with FAI's Pat Costello saying the allocation for the Stade De France has been raised from 8000 to 17000 tikcets.
They are also hoping to raise it again to 20,000.
26,000 people have applied for tickets and also all those who have got them through frenceh ticketmaster, could be half full of Ole Ole-ers ;)

well I managed to cancel the booking this morning.

Its not the accepting bit that would bother me, its the fact that if 6K people didnt get tix I would rather someone who applied had got em (as it doesnt look like anyone else would go on spec if they got the offer of a ticket as everything is booked)

not based in mancunia any more, moved dahn sarf to london of all places last year. must update my profile.

So if I`m not a block booker but I registered for ticekts with the fai what is the realistic chance of getting tickets in the Irish End. I read somewhere else our allocation has been increased from 8,000 to 17,000 and may even rise again?

Some people have received letters / emails from the FAI today. I know of two or three people who are blockbookers who have received all the tickets which they requested - as many as 15 in some instances. It looks as though it is going to be the same as the Swiss game, everyone who applied who is a blockbooker will get all the tickets they want, everyone else will then go into a lottery. But it still looks as though anyone who wants tickets can get them, albeit some people will have to sit in the French end.

Flights? All direct flights would probably be booked but just get a flight to Manchester, London or somewhere else and foly to Paris from there. It also works out cheaper.
