Anyone got a theory on what might be the oldest / longest-running nightclub out there . . .

Basically, the longest amount of time one has operated in the same building, with the same name over the door.

Contender number one - Gatsby's in West Cork, on the go since the mid '80s (and as far as I know has not changed one bit in that time :cool:).

Club 92 in leopardstown racecourse . There since early eighties used to be called Blinkers until learly nineties then changed to Club 92, hasnt changed too much over the years.

Think it had a spell as "Fillies Nightclub" as well somewhere along the line,another oldie is "Club Nassau" (or Club Nausea as we used to call it :)) has been around since the year dot as well.

The Grill in Letterkenny. Going since the 60's/70's (not 100% sure, but definitely 70's) as the Golden Grill. Still going strong in the same building.

Termites in Limerick seems to have been going since some of the music they play was actually in the charts
