Yeah I think it does, the new rule is that suspensions take immediate effect now isn't it? Excellent news if he does miss the game. Going 56 minutes and only 1-0 against a team as weak as the Faroes also says the French aren't exactly going from strenght to strenght at the moment, as their result over the weekend says too.

They're saying he'll miss the Irish game on Radio 1. Cisse has added a second, 2-0, seems hopes of an upset have been dashed. Still fairley dodgy to be scrapping past the Faroes.

Doesn't sound very convincing from the French and without Vieria we could get a result in Paris.
