Only Irish at Celtic is Stokes but he is not even on the bench, nevertheless looks like a good result for Celtic if Barca do not score in the last 7 minutes or so.

Kiss of Death, Tricky.
Always the case ;)
Seems like Celtic struggle to see out a game with out any Irish in the side.

I don't say this lightly but this is the worst tricky_colour thread yet.

Because a lot of Irish fans follow Celtic so I expected there would-be a lot of interest, and judging from the number of replies I was right.

Yeah but that's because everyone's thinking "wtf is this doing in the Ireland section" and clicking out of curiosity. Textbook, if very lazy, wumming.

starting a thread in the international section about a game in the Champions League between two non-Irish clubs (albeit with Irish links in their history), with zero Irish players involved is pointless, but I am more concerned with the spelling of Barcelona.

I thought the relevance of this thread would be that if Celtic, with their personnel of clumsy Championship-level journeymen, could put up such resistance against Barca, what excuse do we have for our performances of late, against similar opposition?
Anyway, to the Rubbish section with this thread.

That's a good point, Celtic have proved a team full of less than perfect players can compete at the very highest level,
and we should not fall into the Trap of thinking we can't either,

Look at their possession stats. They rode their luck every bit as much as we have against top teams. Forster was their Richard Dunne tonight, except it wasn't enough to keep a clean sheet.

This thread is a shocker, even by the Tricky standards and it hit a new low when Supreme Feet tried to tenuously give it relevance only for its creator to only then realise that aspect.

I just did. I also had a touch of the misspellings.
That second 'a' is jarring to say the list.

Can't wait for the Zenit-Anderlecht thread this evening. Two more clubs that have nothing to do with the international section.

What about Hamlet?
I had to look that up, didn't really know the story, only did Macbeth, The Merchant of Venice and The Tempest at school.
To post , or not to post, that was the question !!
