Brian O'Callaghan was with us last season, his last appearance was in the Man City friendly. He's currently training with junior club Geraldines. Dont know if he's going to continue with LOI, depends what our new manager wants when we get one I suppose! He was also coaching our U19s last season, and coaches for another local junior club.

It also reads in that link he's a former Billericay Town player. Conference South team. That's where he disappeared to then..

That would be a lower standard than LOI, wouldn't it? Money is probably better though.

Since they just got promoted to the Conference South, I'd imagine a good amount of LSL teams would be at a greater level.

The last I heard Richie Baker was playing with Granada FC in the UCFL in Dublin, his brother Dessie is player/manager with Edenderry Town FC in the LSL.

Yeah Richie is still with Granada in the UCFL (Div 2A), played them a few times in pre season friendlies over the last couple of years. Does a bit of coaching with them too AFAIK.

Yeah but a good amount of LSL teams are probably better than the likes of Salthill Devon United FC. Fair play to him for going over there and trying to work his way up the ladder, maybe he needed to get out of Ireland to not be comfortable.

Thomas Mcgauley is most likely serving a suspension somewhere in Dublin!!!!! I seem to remember Danny Drew giving him dogs abuse when he got sent off for I think the 3rd time in 4 games. Think he went to Monaghan after us with a possible pit stop or two along the way.

That was his first game back after a 3 match ban and he got sent off after like 15 minutes.

The first post queried about Thomas Heary and I wonder myself what happened to him. Last time wikipedia had him in the LOI was 2010 with Limerick.

Aidan Downes went off to Australia for a year, emigrating like it's all the rage with people his age these days.

Why did John Paul Kelly slip so far down the ladder? What a waste.

Is the Michael Foley from that list the former Liverpool player that I strangely remember being called Michael Foley-Sheridan in Championship manager 2001/2002 and quite a hot prospect? Liverpool always refused to sell, so I used to snap him up on a loan. Used to do the same with London-born Paul O'Donoghue, a Spurs reserve of an Irish background who is now playing Gaelic football in Kerry (never played soccer in Ireland, just something that dawned on me http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2007/jul/24/ireland.pauldoyle).

Andy Bermingham isn't playing at any decent level now which is a shame as he was a great prospect, just didn't want to give up his social life. I don't know if he plays in any local leagues or anything but it's not high enough to be worth mentioning. Neil Gallagher is the Louth GAA keeper.

By far and away the best player I every played alongside at under-age level (well any level), hes a mad yolke thou, was never gna make it with his attitude, Hes not playing anywhere worth mentioning.

As for JP Kelly, didn't he end up in jail for a while or something, think I read it on here before, he had terrible attitude issues too right?

Matthew Crossan was last playing with Derry. Just playing GAA now, played the recent Kevin McHugh testimonial.
Ciaran Greene was released from Harps mid-season and went to America to play GAA. Back playing in Letterkenny now.
Cornielius Gallagher struggled with injury but I think he's playing with one of either Gweedore Celtic or Gweedore United in the Donegal league now.
Sean Cooney is a coach in Texas of all places last I heard.

Sean L'Estrange - Jaysus! I think he played once for us before going to Kilkenny in the Scully season
Robbie Creevy - still at UCD (after a spell in Australia)
Shane Fitzgerald - was with Monaghan this year
Neil Gallagher - had been with Dundalk; was he released or is he still there?
