Strange they should bring a trialist on as a sub ! Hardly much hope impressing from the bench.
I see your friend Richard Keogh is mentioned in the report:
"It came through a mistake from Richard Keogh, who looked to head back towards his own goal, but Richards nipped in and was upended by the Derby defender for a clear penalty, however the Northampton skipper blasted the spot-kick way over the bar".

Cobblers. Thought he could do better.

Disappointed to see he's only on the subs' bench so far. Thought he was the next Michael Carrick when I first saw him play for Wednesday. But then I thought Simon Cox was the biz as well.

Not having the greatest luck in the world. Bad knee injury which required an operation:

What was the injury? I had a similar look a few weeks back.

Just says a knee injury picked up in training which will rule him out for the rest of the season: how unlucky is that when he's trying to establish himself at a new club http://www.ntfc.co.uk/news/article/paul-corry-knee-injury-paul-corry-injury.-2710881.aspx

Signed by Rovers along with 3 other "expired players". Surely there is a better description:

I thought he would make it in the UK from the few time I saw him play. Hope he can rebuild his career at the Hoops.

Announces his retirement due to injuries http://www.independent.ie/sport/soccer/international-soccer/luckless-rovers-midfielder-corry-confirms-his-retirement-plan-36219465.html
What a shame. I had high hopes for him when he broke in to the Wednesday first team and he was playing alongside, and not being outshone by, Ross Barkley (on loan from Everton at the time). He was rated by the then Wednesday manager, Dave Jones (remember him, the prospective Irish manager Giles interviewed for the job!!), as the Owls player of the future.

Disappointing but at least he has something to fall back on. I remember when he signed for Sheff We'd he stated that he had a job offer from KPMG which he had deferred. Hopefully that's still on the plate as he's still a young man and has experienced a lot more than most men of his age.
