Have a bus of 14(at present) travelling to to the game in Fahey's Field this friday. Just wondering is there a pub close that fans meet in before the game.

Flannerys Hotel is your best bet. Closest to the ground albeit not the nicest bar.

We'll probably pop into the hotel before the match for a few bevvies if anyone is about.

There is usually a few League of Ireland heads (disgruntled Galway United loyalists) in The Goalpost, Woodquay on Friday evenings.

The Arches in Claregalway is good for food, Flannerys and Carlton Hotel close to the ground. The opportunities for any LOI banter are minimal !

Does it have Alcohol?, thats all we need. Anyhow 16 on the bus should be getting there 6 or 6:30
