No it finished 4-3. Ref was a joke gave penalty to pike when ball hit our full back in the stomach and he had the mark to prove it, ref knew he was wrong that's why he didn't book him or send him off, didn't give an obvious 1 at the other end when pike centre half flicked the ball away with his hand from our center forward. well done to pike though on the win and best of luck in the competition, they will be hard to beat

Saints won 2.0. Played in ideal conditions before a big crowd considering 8PM KO and great to see a nice crowd there from Park Utd. Saints were not at their best here at all and found Park very hard to break down. It was late in 2nd half when Higgy scored a great goal followed shortly after by goal No. 2 from Tommy Heffernan. Away to Pike in semi final, pencilled in for 10th/11th November.

Judging by the reaction of both saints and pike lads after the game it certainly wasn't the priority and I think it was reflected in the standard / pace of the game also

if it was run off over the 1st 6/8 weeks of the season before the fai and mjc got going would it make any difference?

Same could be said in the Fai, teams have given walk overs in all competitions, the attendance alone would tell people it was an important match.

When was that minesapint? that pitch is top notch always has been,fantastic surface anyone that says otherwise should get there eyes checked, looking forward to it hould be a good game but fancy pike to win by 2 or 3.
