i see rosenberg scored 2 in injury time to force e.t.....maybe shels can do the same :D :D
It would be wonderful to see that old Alan Moore trick, especially if it forced Not Extra Time and Shels through, though that might be hoping for a lot.
I would settle for a Shels goal and 4 minutes of injury time right now all the same.

Fair play to Shels...They have given it a right go. The ref is a joke. Very biased for Depor
Theres the third. Ah well. Roll on the UEFA Cup. Well done Shels. No shame in what you and Cork City have achieved so far for the eL.

Don't knock the ref - can you see UEFA being happy to see that the major clubs would have to come to Ireland for a game - bad enough for them to have to go to Cyprus, but comparatively small TV audiences, no glamorous big name Deportivo, and likely p*ssing down in Lansdowne in October to boot. No, the ref knew the score all right.
Perhaps I'm a touch cynical and a tad bitter
Ah well, end of another dream, but then again, there is still the UEFA Cup, who'd have thought two years ago we'd see an Irish team still in European competition at the end of August, never mind in September.
And Rovers lost to Longford, so it isn't a completely desolate night.
Anyway, well done and thanks to GavinZac, a fine and noble job. Can you finish with the words of solace from he who will learn to say "Carlton, you're coming loose"
