It is well time for Galway United supporters and forum members to disregard what is going on at other clubs and concentrate on our own club, and our vision for the future.

Over the next few weeks we are involved in a huge match which will celebrate the contribution of Eamon Deacy through Galway United to football in Galway.

We are also launching a representative team for the city and county in the League of Ireland.

Reflecting on our proud past and building for a better future. Come on United !

Galway United u19 supporters trust activities this weekend

begin tomorrow morning with the stand on shop street, Lotto, Maroon Army and u19 season tickets will be available.

Saturday the 1st of September 2012 its Galway United u19 V Mervue KO 7.30pm Eamonn Deacy Park Terryland

Tomorrow night is a positive step forward to do the right thing for the right reasons not personal reasons or protecting of positions at top tables

GUST left with little choice are building a football side now on to a long established supporters role.
It will succeed if the turnout at both parents nights and Gust meetings are any measure, it shows the determination of Galway people to do the right thing.
We will start at any level we are allowed but the complete organised, plotted, banishment of United from LOI football will end tomorrow night.

i have shed many tears this year over the fair few Galway United people who have passed on since january. Tomorrow night is dedicated to these people and their families. The peoples club lives on

Great just to be allowed play football last night, Lovely turnout, after a nervous start the United team got well into it against a very decent Mervue side. Good football played all night in atrocious weather conditions on the banks of the corrib.

Meeting our supporters, vending Match tickets at the gate, Season tickets, Match Programmes, Lotto all help us function as a club like all other clubs and all this last night was very healthy

Final score Galway United 1 Mervue United 3 Att:239

Thanks to all who came from all corners of the region, county, city, as far away as Ennis and Ballyhaunis and including Dunmore, Headford, Ballinasloe, Gort, Tuam, Carraroe and many areas of town.
