Damian by the sounds of it and if he's bothering you that much why dont you just ask him to cool it down instead of going on-line and crying like a bitch??????

Or move away from where he is. Same thing happens at GAA matches and rugby matches.

Good entertainment tonight despite the no score. We threw everything at them near the end but they defended very well.

Good crowd too which was great to see.

Gaffney was outstanding and only for a lack of a goal it would have been a perfect performance from him.

Don't know how longford got out of there with a draw I can't recall them having one shot at goal. Limerick should of won 3 or 4 nil tonight so poor finishing hit the post twice one was over The line. WE played well done everything but score I thought longford were very poor expected a lot more from them there team bus should pull in and do the euro millions tonight can't believe we didn't win.

Keeping them at arms length, not bottling it at home . . . good days work, pity we couldn't take our chances.

Ref was a disgrace. Decisions were awful, obviously, but his physical state at this stage of the season. He's being paid ffs

in terms of the league a more valuable result for us than longford, who defended really well all through but were rudderless going foward.thought the quality of our play very poor, only a few vintage moments mainly from gaffeney and while both judge and foley should have done better with chances it was the ..old reliable...gaffeneys long throw we relied on in the last fifteen mins,ya we looked more likely to score but imo the last quarter of this match was aimless hoofball at its best .would have expected much more from gamble and bradley who created zilch given the experience both have.decent result, good crowd, pitch excellent, poor enough game.

I don't think we missed any really opportunities so i wouldn't say the finishing was that bad just one of those nights another night we would have won by 2 or 3.
I was very happy with the performance anyway.

First draw of the season for us.

Was disappointed with our complete lack of attacking intent. The first half was fairly even with both teams having one or 2 half chances, as well as your attempt that hit the crossbar and clearly didn't cross the line (which someone above said it did). Once we came out in the 2nd half though we were clearly playing for a point. In saying that, we did have one excellent chance in the 2nd half when Shaw swung for a ball played across the 6 yard box and fresh aired and Purdy was arriving too late into the box to tap it in at the back post. Apart from that though we were content to fire the ball long to Shaw, who's clearly not a target man but we insist on hoofing it at him anyway. Cousins was obviously happy enough to keep the gap at 3 points and still have a small shot at the title than maybe going a bit more gungho tonight and possibly losing. Our back 4, especially our 2 centre halves were excellent, thankfully.

what ball was over the line, you must have been the only one to see that.

That ball hit the side bar and came back into play, should have been our goal kick!

Ya ball was definitely not over the line. Jeffrey Judge even hesitated in calling for it and only realized he may as well give a shout for it a second later.

A good result last night a bit disappointed with our finishing but it still gives longford a fighting chance, i am happy with our approach to the game we didnt sit back and accept a draw.

Alright lads I posted this on our forum but want to say it in here as well. Excellent atmosphere and good banter at the game last night but Jackman Park still remains the only ground in the LOI that the home fans have said best of luck to us and wished us safe on our way home. Fair play lads and see you in Flancare for our title party :)

why would they stay in the kilmurry the night before a home game? a game of cards wouldnt hurt anyone but if the players were drinking that would be showing a lack of respect to the management and supporters.

Ya playing cards isn't going to do any damage. The game wasn't till Friday night do once they weren't on the **** I don't see a probably.

Didn't think our performance was lacking. It was mentioned someone was Dissapointed in Gamble and Bradley. Gamble I thought worked his socks off and kept the Longford midfield very quiet, puts his body on the line all the time and never pulls out of challenges. Bradley only got about 10 minutes and at that stage we were by passing the midfield.

Back from the internet-less weekend, was really dissapointed with how it all went. Bad game to watch, a lot of hoofball. Struggled to make chances in the first half, wasted a load of them in the second. No one played really bad and no one played really well. Up front, Foley, Gaffney and Behan just did not seem capable of getting it in the net at all. A lot of over hit balls, a lot of flick ons to nobody (especially from corners/long throws). We tried to be a bit too fancy at times, going for solo glory at others (Gaffney especially).

Referee was appaling from start to finish. Inconsistent, getting in the way of the ball, silly cards being handed out. Awful, awful, awful. Infuriating.

While none of that is great, the defence looked solid and the midfield did fine. A draw is an alright result too, but we really need six from six before we welcome Waterford to Jackman.

Was very suprised at how impotent Longford looked. Everything they did seemed to be an over the top ball that trickled through harmlessly to Ryan. Did he have to make a save?

Good crowd, would have been more but for the weather. Decent atmosphere too for most of it. A good indication of where Limerick would be in the event of promotion.
