so its 7 years since the last one, no keith flint either.....

got it today, and i am impressed.....thumping !!!

the sample of thriller in "way it is " is great.

first single "girls" has a real 70's feel/

"action radar" is back to basics....

the rest are up there as well, but "spitfire" is the best on the album....the indian influence is top notch.....

well worth a purchase if your a prodgy fan from days past.

Desperate crap, and Music for the Jilted Generation was pretty poor too.

Experience was a great album, even if it was blamed for bringing rave overground and killing off the underground appeal. Some of the tracks like 'Fire' and 'Charly' were outstanding.

Any Corkonians remember them at City Hall in 93 or 94? Not as hedonistic as their appearance at the Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney in 93, but still a good night. They had a fantastic support act, 4th Dimension, who were, along with Decal and Johnny Moy, prety much the sum total of Irish dance music in the early 90s.

liquid wheel, red records, sound crowd.......three major examples of irish dance in the early 90's

Great night. I thought the floor was going to collapse.

I'm sure I still have their album.
They brought Sharon Shannon international recognition :D
"Go on Sharon, show us yer box." Legend!
Saw them again in Gatsby's, Dunmanway after that.
Rumour that over 1,200 people paid in that night.

remember ur mans hair :D

The great thing about the hair was that you'd strike up a conversation with the bloke and out he'd come with this bogger Kerry accent.
You'd be thinking to yourself, that accent doesn't go with that hair :D

Storm EP, if I remember right. Wasn't that fond of it, but loved 'Late Arrival', which had a great video - showed extracts from weird wildlife footage in slow motion.

still have that ep somewhere at home, I thought it was decent but dance music was never really my thing.
your man's hair was class though :D

first seen prodigy in dublin in 93 and they were a class act.

seen them again i think in sligo where 4th dimension were the back up (bout dec 94??)....
a few times again thereafter

thought their ist 2 albums were good

heard they are playing the olympia in december but it is a sellout
would have been a good catch up
reports from witness though a few years back was that they werent great

Where they not 94 and 95? They were the best nights of my childhood. And I agree with whoever said the 4D stole the show both times. Though Im not sure did Jonny Moy do warm up at either? ****, it will annoy me for a while, there was Mark Kavanagh and some English dude from XL recordings. Plus the vocal talent of MC RUFF.
