Cork City 1 - 1 Dublin City
FAI Cup
FT Waterford U. 7 - 2 Kilkenny
90' Athlone 1 - 0 Cobh Ramblers
90' Bohemians 0 - 1 Kildare
90' Drogheda United 2 - 0 St. Patricks
According to livescore, I think the cork and Bohs matches have finished aswell. Some shock at Dalymount and not exactly a great start for Bohs new management team and a terrible result for Cork in the chase for a European/Setanta spot. I heard at the Waterford game Brutons hat trick was quick enough even to be compared to Jimmy O'Connors record setter for Shels, Kilkenny were actually winning 2-1 at some point in that match.
Drogheda with a good win too, presumeing they hung on and it's over now, they could go on and win it this year imo.
UCD also beat Drums 5-0 apparently. It was a terrible draw for Drums really and they were always going to struggle there, I was hopeing they'd draw someone like Rovers, that would have been something else. Maybe next year...
