i reckon there should be a decent crowd for the match sat night.
there seems to be a lot of rovers supporters planning to go.
it would be great if there the ground was full :)

...don't let this turn into another Rovers bashing, Steward reviewing thread!

I'm very bored of it all, Let's all agree that we're all right/wrong. whatever!

Thought there'd be a good crowd at the Pat's game after the away result down in Wahfuh, but alas, the good folk of Longford had better things to be doin'. Here's hoping though.

You are a "rock" of sense. Positive vibes only for hopefully a great game, and more importantly a great result. ;)

agree 100 per cent on the steward thing.
just hoping there is a good crowd to create the atmosphere that this match deserves.

Id say there'll be maybe 1500-2000 at it if Rovers bring down a good few, I dont imagine it being much bigger than that..

I'm genuinely expecting about 400 - 500 Rovers fans to travel down, its basically a make or break game for both teams at this stage ( the LC doesnt count in all honesty) and i would have thought there'd be a sizeable local crowd with it being the cup & Longford being the holders! Do you really think there'll only be about 2000 in total?

I found out officially today that Section O and the sections after that(P afterwards) are open but the town supporters will have have to go by the stand end to go to the far side as I believe the rovers supporters are housed around the old sideentrance(where the 5 a side pitches are) and they have two to three sections allocated to them with guards in between them and us!

so good news for section o then :p :D

Lads, I'd be very disappointed it only 1500 - 2000 turned up. We've got three buses full but most Rovers fans will be in cars. I know Longford's crowds have gone to ****e over the past two years, but this is the cup! Against Rovers!
