Another gem from the match delegate last night as the teams come out - 'Are At-low-en in white' as we came out in our traditional blue and black.

Oh, forgot to mention, going by all reports, yet another shocking penalty decision going against us. It's almost a weekly event now at this stage.

I have to say that I was at that end of the ground for the second half and did think it was a penalty tbh.

The only thing remotely contraversial about that penalty call was whether it was inside the box or not. I certainly thought it was inside, but it was close. MacBride's behavior afterwards was crazy.

Bohs, I mean, jesus. You're like the old 38A bus, waiting for ages and then 4 come along (slight exaggeration). But, jesus. And sick for us, 1-1 at home to the champions elect would have been a nice boost for the weekend. but, Bohs, jesus.

You're a Shels fans now???

Extra Time updates suggesting Caschera threw in a few real bafflers tonight, two soft reds and five minutes of injury time during which he also gave a penalty to you for the winner, the equalizer having already arrived in injury time.

In fairness there were plenty of subs, six goals and two sendings off; more than enough to warrant five mins additional time.

And the equalizer was scored in normal time.

Spike was a life long SlIgo Rovers man so I suppose the dig was against Shamrock was inevitable, what a lovely little film though, thanks very much for the link.

Oh God, not MORE "doctored" photos

....anyway pretty obvious what happened (pick one depending on own level of stupidity)

(1) it was the fault of the Gardai
(2) it was the fault of the stewards
(3) it was the fault of the fence
(4) part of a global conspiracy against shams (involving international media, various police forces and Bohs)
(5) it was just an individual (he just gets around a lot)
(6) no direct bus link between Phibsboro and Tallaght
(7) it was Bohs fault. just cos.

As ever the silence from Mordor is deafening. The model club, so quick to lecture every other club goes all shy in the face of thuggery by its own fans. The Supporters clubs that were quick to issue statements about the brandywell are all quiet.

Shameless Rovers.

I am a Rovers fan and the behaviour of those gob****es that got on the pitch is a disgrace, you can give out about stewarding or the Gardai but in the end these gob****es will have to be banned for life. The problem for the board is that another gob****e is causing the club even more embarrassment.

Love how gypo's convieniently forget that they had four scrotes fooked out by the cops.
Each sides scummers are every bit as bad as each other.

I don't think there'd be any sympathy for a gob****e like that among the support, but unfortunately they tend to rear their heads every now and then, usually when the newspapers tell them they're supposed to be getting all riled up. There was great banter between the two sets of supporters at Tolka last week, and that the first meeting between the two teams there for centuries.

Of course, both sides equally bad - pretty clear from the pictures  funny there was no pepper spray or batons used by Gardai (or needed) in the Jodi on Friday.

BTW do your directors always go to games topless ?

Keep On Moobing ;)

Think the last picture was 2nd half incident (1st two were after first goal went in). Recall a topless scoth was removed for attempting to run on to the pitch and spit at Bohs keeper (was giving the benifit of the doubt you had only one shirtless knacker among the ranks on Friday).

Agreed. The test is how clubs deal with identified individuals who have broken stadium rules etc. In Dalymount there has been much moaning and whining from the dozens of scrotes and their buddies who have been banned from matches home and away.A lot of them were probably ambushing Rovers fans around Hardicke Street flats/ Dorset Street on Friday.
I know that there are a lot people in your club who would like to do the same to your miscreants ( banning them) but unfortunately for you and your club`s reputation your Board wont/can`t touch them.

Are these similar to the lifetime bans your knacker fans got after thrashing that pub in Derry yet have still being attending matches in Dalymount ever since?

Can't believe nobody mentioned the hillarity of the moment the Shams fan came onto the pitch and seemed either to have been shot, struck by something or has ricketts. He then finished off the fall by outstretching both arms and lay for a second. A second fan seemed to try and lift him. I seen very little other than that comedy moment. I played it back a few times. Laughed as much on each occasion.

Great comeback , but your issue - bit like your view on the Penders "cuteness" for the pen - appears to be a solo event. Didn't hear Uncle Fester, on MNS, (or indeed any Cork fans) take issue with anything that happened last Sunday.

Over the years I have seen a few muppets, usually beer fuelled, from all clubs - including Cork City - but that does negate the right of fans to critisise the nonsense at Dalymount (and the non existent/totally inadequate response from the junta in Tallaght).

The issue most people had with the disgracefull scenes seen on MNS was the continuing failure of shams to address it, Richmond, Tallaght, Oriel, Dalymount etc etc. two weeks on and still not even a statement condeming it from the junta. As Richard Sadlier said, unless clubs are proactive in combatting it they are condoning it. Nothing comparible happened in Cork last week (except in your mind) so stop talking rubbish about glass houses.

oh, and a more blatant penalty would be hard to find- at least in the real world

Invading the pitch is far worse thing that a few drunk kids trying to kick their way in at the wrong end of the ground.
There was some handbags in Ballyphehane Park afterwards as well but thats what happens when kids go drinking all day.

Rovers also invaded the pitch down here after their last minute equaliser, something your crowd didn't manage and I think we all know they have far greater issues than us but still it irritates me when you see these drunk Green Street wannabees acting the fool. I don't want my four year old seeing that crap.

and I never said it wasn't a pen :D
