I've been looking up the history of Dunphy, Saipan, Keane and all that stuff which kinda accumulates with the 2005 rant from Dunphy. The rant strikes me of a man(Dunphy) who adores his master(Keane) and will do anything to get his recognition, from falling out with long time friends to delving viscously into someones private life.
That 2005 rant was strange, a bit like in one of the Damien movies when the mother says 'I've always belonged to him'
Its mad how much things have changed, maybe Dunphy got sick of unrequited love and broke free of the shackles.
