So already Irish fans are on the road so maybe a bit late for this..

Are you going? Where will you be?

Maybe some foot.ie pints at some stage?

Am heading out the day of the Spain game, straight to Torun that night, then Poznan for two nights and home via Bydgoszcz the day after the Italy game.

Flying into Wroclaw from London on Friday. Collecting campervan there and driving to Poznan on Saturday. We were going to go to Berlin after that but with all these border checks etc I don't think we'll draw it on ourselves. Just hit Gdansk a couple of days before the Spain game altogether as it's supposed to be nice and we're staying in nearby Sopot, which is on the beach. Back to Poznan then I suppose.

Out to Berlin from Luton on Sat am, drive to Poznan same day. Back to Berlin / Luton on Monday. Overnight trip to Gdansk on Thursday, direct from Stansted, back friday.

Watching Italy game in London.

I have conditional Q/F, S/F and F tickets. Not sure what to do next tbh.

June 8th - 12th: Poznan
June 13th-16th Gdansk/Sopot/Gydnia
June 17th-19th Poznan

This day ten years ago I was only 16 and sitting English Paper I and II in the Leaving Cert.

Ended up missing the Ireland v Germany game and had no clue what score the game was, just knew something big had happened due to all the car horns blaring. Always felt that WC was somewhat diminished by the exams. Never thought I'd have to wait ten years to see Ireland at a tournament.

I was in the same boat...
I got the first half in the pub beside the school, leaving at half-time is still one of the hardest things I've ever done!!

Sounds like great craic, tell us more?It was anything but. We were in a fairly lightweight catamaran thingy. Actually there were two of them I think.

There was a storm when we were out at sea and the choppy ocean made almost everyone seasick. I don't know how long we were out there for but it was several hours, something like 6 as worm suggests.

I was feeling groggy but not sick so I had to go around with a plastic bag for people to puke into. I was the only one able to walk. You should have seen the colour of half of the fans (quite a lot - it was a Dave Bacuzzi Travel arranged package) - their faces were whiter than white and I'm not sure they all properly recovered during the game. We only got into port about 45 mins before KO. Horrible experience.
