If city keep current form going theres no stopping us!

Only 2 defeats in last 15 & 10 wins in there speaks for itself!!!

Home form is impressive & we ain't doing so bad away from home either. If we can avoid any long term injuries we are well in there.

I think there is a chance, but it will be far from easy especially if Pat's get their points back.

precisely. i heard that pat's will get at least 6 points back and fairly so in my view.

as for city's titles chances there is a chance but there is a differance between having a putside chance and being able to cope with the pressure of title challengers.

in other words do city have the mental strength? i don't know I have my doubts especially as we still leak goals and lack pace on the right flank and penetration up front- i predict top three finish

well i hope that Pats do get all nine points back. we've had all the "ye won by default" jibes when we won the title in '93 so i want us to win it without the Boyz in the Pale having anything to throw back at us

We are looking good this year but (if ye saw the $hels match in Tolka) we are only half the team without O'Grady :( Lets just hope that he doesnt get injured!

Yeah had brief moment of concern when thought Conor was injured on friday but thankfully was Deccie being taken off.

Kelvin used to do well as stand in earlier this season but hasn't been doing so well in recent weeks. Bennet given its his first season anyway does struggle without O'Grady.

UCD traditional bogey team at home next week is a big one.

Tne squads a bit thin in midfield & for fullbacks but hopefully we have enough forwards available now to bring off the bench & score those vital goals.

I think the big crowds of sunshines supporters will be returning now.

Gunthers record to date:

Included unbeaten (8 wins 2 draws) record last season now stands at...

Played 29 Won 18 Drew 6 Lost 5 - 60points

This is clearly league winning form so credits where credits due. Murhy might have fallings out with some players but clearly he knows how to get the others playing & winning.

BTW anyone notice how ollies seemed to added consistent goal scoring to this CV? He scored a good few of those cutting inside & placing right footer into bottom right hand corner?

yea fair play to Ollie, really looks like he's trying week in week out and not when he just feels like it.

Although, he might just have felt like for the last 5 or 6 weeks, and so nothings changed :D

also wea hey 10,000 th post on foot.ie for me :D
are you watching Longford Town... :)

if that was a full season we would be comfortably top of the league

Of course, but not this week's game! Rovers, Cork and Shels have it between them, I think.

I wouldnt write off Derry just yet, and if Pats get some or all of their points back, then we will have a really exciting climax to the season. :)

Can't argue! :D
Yeah Ollie's been fantastic alright, fair dues to him.
Also, I believe pats will be getting 9 points back from what i hear. It between us Pats and Shels i'd say, rovers are beginning to falter.
