Shelbourne have made attempts to bring Cork City striker Pat Morley back to Tolka Park on loan, eircom League online (http://www.redbrick.dcu.ie/~jw/1-12-5.htm) can exclusively reveal.

I'd hate if he did go back to them, even on loan. But If he did go, who could blame him, with all the crap he has to put up with whenever he gets a game for City.

Of course if he did go, we would have the usual morons calling him a 'judas' etc etc etc.

Wouldn't it be great if these idiots actually realised exactly how good a player Morley IS (not was).

Cheeky attempt i must say. Theres no way City would let him go to a tilt rival (that sounds good doesn't it).

BTW in that story it says skippy is third in all time league golas. I thought he was now 2nd???

Would hardly be a wise move on City's part though I'm not sure Morley would mind considering the stick he's getting from certain sections of the fans recently.

Only spotted this now Joe, but if you insist:

235 Brendan Bradley
180 Pat Morley
178 Turlough O'Connor

All-time Top Three.

City's top three:
129 Johnny C
127 Skippy
50 Davie B

Skippy's only 2 behind. Anyone reckon he'll break that soon?
