If it's illegal for the FAI not to sanction the tournament then why on earth is it not going ahead?

He's absolutely clueless.

To make things worse he is confusing the people of Limerick who don't know the ins and outs of how these things would work. He really is making it out to be a simple case of the FAI just being awkward.

From the general publics persepctive the people of Limerick have been denied this great tournament and a money maker for the city because the FAI want it on in Dublin.

In reality its just a promoter and Thomond park ltd trying to make money to line their own pockets and not a penny going back into Irish football.
