We go through on being drawn first out of a hat to play England as Ireland, Croatia and Italy all have the same points and goal difference.

In the quarter final we beat England on penalties as Wayne Rooney gets sent off early on for head butting Keith Andrews after he insults his mother.

We beat the Germans in the semis 1-0 as part of a pre match brokered deal to let us win with the expectation that the excitement generated by our further progression in the tournament will provide our economy with a much needed kickstart relieving the Germans of having to provide any further bailout cash.

Finally we beat Spain 1-0 in the final after the Spanish economy collapses and Real Madrid and Barcelona fold devastating player confidence and inflaming the tensions between the Catalan and Madrid players.

Let's not get into technicalities here. The important thing is we're going to win, with late call-up David Connolly to finish top scorer with 22 goals.

I think id take 2 draws to start with and all to play for winner takes all against italy now, but not 1 point going into the last game, and hoping for another team to do us a favour, especially when that team has already qualified.

I think we can get a point against Croatia and frustrate the life out of Spain for 90 minutes.
