First leg
Juventus 2-2 Djurgarden

And as if to emphasise the point I was making about Maccabi Haifa's Champions League breakthrough spurring on their entire league, Maccabi Tel-Aviv defeated PAOK Salonika 2-1 away from home in their first leg match.

Saw Liverpool's 2-0 win in Graz on TV3. Graz were unspeakably poor and looked like they didn't give a toss.

I dunno what odds the draw was but swedes were 7/1 to beat Juve.

Italian teams seem to be real slow starters in Europe.

Saw Rapid Vienna 2 years ago and I was very disapointed, no better than a top 4 eL team. If an eL team drew them in Europe Id say that we'd have a good chance. Really nice stadium though 30k-ish, where Ajax won the Champions League about 10 years ago. Cool fans too.
