Folks
any tips or short cuts on making it from croker after the Dubs/Kerry game on saturday (approx 5,30) to the flansiro (7,30 k/off ??), taking into account westmeath also playing in croker that day....

There is a way that you can cut through from the N3 down through Summerhill and come out on the Mullingar bypass, or you can go the old N4 to Kilcock, then Summerhill.

However, they'd only be quicker if the M/N4 is completely fooked and there's a good chance a lot of Westmeath bogball supporters will know the route. And it still wouldn't get you out of Dublin any quicker.

I did the Liexlip to Mullingar via Summerhill a few weeks ago when a crash between Enfield and Clonard had it tailed back to the start of the motorway - still took 2.5 hours....

Other way could be the N3 to Cavan and then cut across, but you'd struggle to do that in 2 hours.

you won't make it in two weeks i think

out navan road until turn off for trim, go into trim and head for athboy theen delvin and when in delvin head for mullingar.......1 have done that in 1 hour 35 to edgeworthstown so it might be worth a go.

best bet is to leave the game early, but as macy said the M4 is in a jock at the mo.

Max Power is right with his route via Trim, Athboy, Delvin. Sh1te road but much quicker and no Traffic.

mostly the same as friday but sean dillon will be back so prunty could go back to left midfield with either garto or dillon going to left back and barrett dropping to the bench

All roads will be jammed but yer best bet maybe Clonee-Dunboyne-Summerhill-Ballivor-Killucan-Mullingar It's a handy one on a normal friday evening, it'll be busy after the match but not as bad as the n4.

well after taking 4 hours to get down on monday night, i've lost all hope.......

ok match is at 3 me thinks.......leaving dublin at half 5 perhaps.......i'd park around pearce street area and go straight out the quays and down the N 4, 2 hours would be more than enough, but 02 in the park is on as well.....but you should be ok.
