I'd echo that.
Some promising players like O'Shea and Murray, not to mention the opportunity to remind yourself that Hoggie is almost back.

Has the Echo got it wrong as usual, by saying the game is on today?

Considering our under 21 team is basically an U-18 team with a few U-16s and a couple of senior squad members thats a good result for us. I was expecting us to get hockeyed

Nults
O'Shea Ken O'Brien Gutts Willie Byrne
Minty Kev M Sweeney Lally
Behan Nolan

Subs used: O'Sullivan Softic Frahr

City were well on top in the first half (conceded a peno, equalised quickly)
Kevs goal was class, put through brilliantly by Nolan and kept his cool.
Nolan and Lally were by far the best players in that first half.
Behan had a 'mare IMO and the cente backs gave me a few nervous moments.
Minty was not as impressive as in previous games -

Second half was weird. Minty played as a third central midfielder most of the time leaving no one on the right. This lack of shape probably contributed to a much poorer second half. The first change ws to bring Softic on for Minty, but again we played no one on the right.
During the second half of extra time O'Shea aws taken off for Frahr and from then on the only player on the right was Nolan who looked like a half leftback, half wingback (it didn't look much like a 3-5-2).

Liam M was in charge for the game which might explain the lack of shape. :p

Behan had a 'mare IMO Hate to be negative, but he was BRUTAL.
He should have scored 5 or 6 goals.
The whole side seemed a little off.
Who was the number 4 for Longford?

Lads Jamie Nolan he is a good lad Watch out for him he will be good. He works hard on the pitch and he is better than behan.

Where can I find news of upcoming fixtures? The official club website and the unofficial ones do not provide this info. Pity. Would like to take the kids to see City players banging in a few goals.
