Shels fans attending our game tonight might be interested in buying our programme, there is a decent spread on them in tonights edition.

Amazing to read its the first Premier Div game since Aug/Sept 2001.

A very important week in the LoI. Pats need to get a result or there will be a gap opening up so early in the season between them and the title contenders. Vital games in the First Divison also.

Thought Russell may have been offside there, didn't see a replay from the side.

And 2-0 Pats. Brennan a liability at left back. Still a cracking game.

That was a peach. Brennan MIA again. Not sure how Greene is keeping his place in that team either. Credit to Buckley, tactically he's picked out rovers weaknesses brilliantly.

That makes it interesting. Oman has been the target for every corner and eventually sticks one in. If every televised game was like that the league would have no bother attracting new fans.

Great performance from pat's. That's been coming for roverd in a way. They've gone behind too many times this season and looked sloppy at the back and lacked imagination in attack, that's all accumulated tonight and resulted in a hammering. Might be exactly what they needed.

What a relief. First goal in the league!

Was there a camera for posterity? :)

Pats well deserved after the early goal. Rovers muscled off the ball too easily..when Chambers is beating you in the last 5 minutes, there's problems. Luckily Pats have only picked up three points against Mons, Bohs and Shels to Rovers' 9. Stephen Alkin clearly forgetting Rovers conceded 5 in Dundalk under MON..

This is not going to be an easy journey home on the 13 for the next week or two or eleven..

Thank f$$k i didnt make it to itchysore tonight eh!

Some bad mangerial decisions by SK tonight. playin brennan at left back was a criminal decision- it might work against cannon fodder like the Nama bozos but not against decent sides like pats who will finish top 3 at least
Fair play to pats- they have improved their squad immerserably since last season, especially chambers and forrester who looks a hell of a player.

I wont be slashin me wrists just yet- after all the champions elect in england got hammered 6:1 at home this season.

Town win 2-1 in Limerick. Get in. Sounds like we rode our luck but feck it, 5 wins and a draw from 6 is good going! Three points clear of Wexford now, Lims down to third.

Ye deserved the win the only reason we had ye back in your own half any bit is because we kept hoofing and hoofing. Ye tried to play ball and did fully deserved win from what looks like a far far better team then us imo. Ye dont have better players but with a clown like we have in charge we will win no league.

Mental game in Finn Park.

Salthill players getting sent of for completely out of the blue lash outs. Very soft penalty call and some of the maddest clearances off the line.

We could have won by a cricket score. Great entertainment.

Great win for Pats and what a game to be on tv. Buckley is a good manager and it is good to see him back in the league. Good to see John Russell playing at a standard that his ability deserve and some fine goals from Forrester also. Glad Bohs scored, and won as well.
