With $hels becoming cash rich after tonight's result, and gaining the potential to become the Rosenberg of Irish soccer, I wonder is this season the best chance City will have to take the league in the short to medium term?
As difficult as it might be now, it will only get harder next season as Shels spend their winnings on even better players.
If we can win it this time, and do as well in Europe next season as Shels are doing this year, we can keep pace with them.
If not, we might be fighting for "best of the rest"..
Hopefully, Friday will see us end the euro hangover, beat Pats and then destroy a tired Shels on Saturday week. Simple really. :cool:
