Suspensions list issued today sees KF ruled out for 1 game beginning 12.12.01, so he'll miss the Cup clash with the Hoops...
Who's gonna take that vital last-minute spot kick now???

Cahill? Derek? although that last one is frightening, but I do recall him trying a shot on goal from a direct free kick....

Exactly! I can say i've never seen Derek get one of those 'head down blasters' hit the target & actually threaten the keeper. They either scream over the bar or stay low (cos hes scuffed it) & noy threaten the keeper.

We are badly lacking a deadball specialist. Carey can wip in some great crosses from frees on the right but we have no one capable of even looking like scoring in front of the box!

bring back Kabia and Dobbs they always scored.......... well in Sidetracks anyway :D

uea was thinking bout dereck taking those frees all the time...he must be chit hot at em in training to always be taking them in games cause otherwise it makes absolutely no sense to see him blaze ball after ball over the bar..

id say Ollie or jimmy the gnome could take the last min spotter though and i'd be fairly confident too of them scoring

Say what you like about Kelvin but he is a top class peno taker. I'd say about 90% success rate?

Doesn't Morley take them in his absence? Think Ollie might have taken in the past too? Whatever about skippy I wouldn't be that confident about ollie.

Ollie's top of his form at the moment, as good as he's ever been. I'd say that confidence would translate to taking penos if necessary, though we'll hardly need to rely on them to beat the Hoops :D
