Joining LOI forums

It is easier to get into a safe in the mint than is is tryin to get registered and get into some LOI forums.Sligo for instance,Pats as well.Bohs never respond to any request? What is the secret or do i want to know:confused: OR IS IT ME?
Anyone else having probs trying to register for these forums?

The OP makes a great point.

I tried a few fora. Some didn't respond. Others just make it so labourious I just gave up. Others - like foot.ie it has to be said - demanded a work or an email account that was directly identifiable as yours (e.g. an ISP email account) which I wasn't prepared to give. I did eventually for foot.ie, against my better judgement, and which I still regard as unreasonable.

Not just its my club, but Waterford United's BTID forum is completely open, and is a model others should follow.

Have tried to join Bohs and Sligo forums in the past before games with them but without success, no response at all.

No one is refused from the Pats one bar spam. That's the only reason for needing activation.

Sligo is the only forum not to allow me in, but I'm barred from the Shels one (for congratulating Steaua Bucharest about 6/7 years ago) and the Rovers one (for being anti-Rovers on foot.ie)

admining forums is a p0x though, so won't argue with whatever anyone decides to do

im barred for life from Pats which seemed a bit harsh at the time - though I might have been drunk gloating after we beat them last year - it was around that time anyway

Lads if it makes you feel any better, the admins were banning everyone up until recently for minor things, rovers fans included(mainly) so its not discrimination against non-rovers members. unless your Bohs, then its ok

There is one Shams fan who keeps trying to register on our forum under different emails and usernames. Keeps getting blocked as he hasn't the cop to realise mods can see his IP adress every time.
