Longfordian
22/06/2004, 9:30 AM
None of those countries (if they do the regional group) would be too tricky to get to. It wouldnt be a case of one flight a week or anything I wouldnt think

max power
22/06/2004, 9:40 AM
but if the away leg is the 15 th the price would ne expensive as its very close to the date, but such is life. i'm hoping for sweden, but eastern europe is a beautiful and very cheap place

Longfordian
22/06/2004, 9:54 AM

Pauro 76
22/06/2004, 1:15 PM
will be indeed.... I dont know too much about it as yet.... but its on between 12 and 2, ill log on and let yis know the details then.... Ideal draw: Latvia/Lithuania, with the away leg second.... please?

Longfordian
22/06/2004, 8:07 PM
AFAIK and dont quote me on this but the Town will be using 747 to get to the away leg but will not be taking responsibility for organising a package, im sure you can all guess why, but will merely recommend 747 to supporters. Michael Caslin of 747 will do the putting together of packages. If it so happens that its cheaper to organise one flight for supporters and team and everyone then that will be taken into consideration and if it turns out to be the most practical arrangement for all parties then it may well happen. Otherwise you may well have a team party and a supporters party. Either way we'll all get there this time!

Hoping for a place thats easy to get to and cheap.... not too much to ask for!! what time is the draw on? i might have asked the question on another thread but too lazy to check it out... apparantly Jim Hanley is over there as we speak...

Longfordian
24/06/2004, 4:56 PM

This is the longest one off thread. The only rival is the Pro/Anti Celtic thread, which has had 100's of threads merged into it, so doesn't count. Merging threads is the forum equivalent of taking EPO....

Can I just take a moment to welcome back the lost souls like Magoo into our family. And to our fellow exiles from THE LONGEST EVER THREAD, Dinny, An Rock, and other people i can vaguely remember. Expecting ghosts of the past like Sir Rantalot to come back any moment now at this rate... ;)
