Do you not have to charge even a token sum to everyone unless they have cpo tickets?

Does anybody think that in the times we're living in and the drop in standards (for most clubs that is), the clubs should be making it cheaper to go to games ? Apart from that, I believe now is also the time for clubs to work together whether its about agreeing kick off times. Anyway fellow LoI fans, the best of luck to all, hope we all have a really enjoyable season. Asmall aside, for any aspiring journos out there, when referring to Bohs, it is of course, Bohemian Fc !! I'm getting sick of mainstream media referring to us as Bohemians Fc !!!

The clubs already have made it cheaper to go to games. In the majority of cases anyway. Mind you the prices had gone crazy a few years ago.

Have they, ignoring those that have been relegated? A lot of them have dropped more expensive stand tickets, rather than reducing cheapest admission.

I thought they had anyway.. based on a vague memory of clubs looking for €20 in. (I tried to find some old threads like this one but none seem to fit the bill.)

Not to mention the €25 a game you had to pay to sit in the new stand in Terryland for the first half of the 2008 season.

Bohs tried to charge us €20 to go into the Jodi in 2008 or 2009, we mostly paid the €15 and went over to the Connaught Stand. It was ****ing raining so we huddled under the tv stand thing, and I think it was a live game. Anyway Roddy wasn't happy trying to do the match with us underneath, so he made Bohs move us into the Jodi.

nice one Roddy!

"The stand"! Does that not contravene advertising standards?

They are charging €20 into a galvanised shed with a few wets seats where two corners of the pitch cannot be seen and half the pitch is obscured by floodtlight posts and advertising hoardings over the dugouts?

The Celtic Tiger must still be alive in Hunky Dorys Park.

ludicrous price structure it just shows how out off touch with reality those running LOI clubs are, all those crisps must have drove them mad up there €20 notes in a recession to sit in a shack is bonkers.

Leaflet drop done around the Stoneybatter/Oxmantown/Arbour Hill area by Bohs.

Offering a fiver off to the first 5 home games at Dalyer.

Thankfully I'll get to use one for the Shels game.

Nice idea and well timed. Fair dues.

At least one foreign language and sufficient points in your leaving cert depending on your course.

There is plenty of covered seating in united park for E15.

I think Longfordian the season ticket the yr before was €140 so they must have decided not to change it..

I gathered that all right but it's not exactly going to encourage anyone to buy one. Granted most of those who buy one these days will pay it anyway to support the club but anyone who isnt sure they'll be going to every game has no incentive to buy one.

Ya but don't forget it GAURANTEES you entry to all the games, even the ones that might be tougher to get tickets for.

In all seriousness though they could have taken 10 or 20 euro off it. We where originally selling them for 120 but when the fixtures came out and confirmed they where reduced to 110.

It is alright, Cork should be getting huge support. Good games at a decent price, and they should have a decent season.
