Being discussed on Off The Ball after the break.
106-108FM or newstalk.ie

I'm sure we have a thread similar to this but thought it would be of interest to some here.

Missed this, unfortunately. I'm sure it will be on podcast. Who were the contributors?

Not worth going out of your way for. Nothing that hasn't been said here a million times.
Devlin was worthy of a bit of insight considering the links he has. But Sadlier was just his usual, whiny, hard done by self.

Cheers BonnieShels, just had a l (http://www.newstalk.ie/programmes/all/offtheball/listen-back/)i (http://www.newstalk.ie/programmes/all/offtheball/listen-back/)s (http://www.newstalk.ie/programmes/all/offtheball/listen-back/)t (http://www.newstalk.ie/programmes/all/offtheball/listen-back/)e (http://www.newstalk.ie/programmes/all/offtheball/listen-back/)n (http://www.newstalk.ie/programmes/all/offtheball/listen-back/) . . .

Most LOI fans would probably share the opinion that the successes are a spillover from full-time football, and increased standards, along with maybe a renewed belief / realisation amongst players that the league can be a platform for a meaningful move across.

The Newstalk guys, unfortunately, were only focused on / aware of the British angle, such as a more competitive environment within English youth set-ups.

I thought that after finishing with Devo / Sadlier they could have just gone to an ad break or something, rather than remaining with the subject for another minute or two, during which they inevitably took a couple of digs at the LOI. They seemed kind of relieved to revert back to talk of the Arsenal-Leeds game . . .
