an incredible effort from a fantasic team. at 1-0 up we came so close so often to that crucial second goal - it's hard to believe we came so close to beating a team like nantes over 2 legs. the way the game played out it's hard not to be disappointed but city have achieved a lot. they created history in reaching the quarter finals of a european competiton, were unbeaten at home in 3 european ties and in the end it took a huge effort from a top european side to knock them out. and they achieved all that playing patient, attractive attacking football. they've raised the bar for irish club sides - proud to be a city fan.

We should have beaten them and I'd say they know it too.Multi-million euro players on more money in a week than most of our boys get in a year and they had to hang on to get the draw,brilliant stuff by everyone involved in our great club,especially the fans. :)
