He hasn't travelled to the states with Man U, whilst he recovers from his Groin injury.

Anyone know when he's likely to be back in action & if he'll be in contention for the Ireland squad come the first WCQ???

(No need for any Pro/Anti Celtic references!!!)

He'll be ready for the start of United's season Junior, United are just giving him time to recover.

Alex Ferguson quote on ManUtd.com
"His recovery is coming along fine. We just feel that, having had that operation, he is much better off staying here at the training ground and going through a full recovery to be ready for the start of the season."

the US trip is only a promo trip for brand building over there, they only brought an 18 man squad, they are playing friendlys against smaller teams in the UK over the next few weeks so he might get a run out in some of those games before the start of the season and the next irish game.

The last match in the US trip is against Milan on the 31st. The Charity Shield is on the 8th of August. Not much time for friendlies. :)
