Lots of irish involved alright. Graham is back with the brits but grealish who has played with the reserves is with us. Lewis and Bryan are 2 other defenders who are irish and in and around the youths and reserves. Devine is a centre half who has a bad knee injury and is out for the season. |Dont think Kinsella is Irish. Arsenal also have roberts a striker and Glasgow a full back in and around the reserves and youths. 2 other irish under 19s smith a centre half and webb a midfielder left arsenal since the beginning of the season for leicester and qpr. Carruthers used b with arsenal so Im sure he enjoyed the goal!

Wenger won't like that. You'd think Murphy would at least make some kind of effort to stop Carruthers instead of merely eyeballing him

Isn't Williams eligible for Germany? Anyone know how he is?

Think Williams dad is German, his mum from Waterford

Close - he was born in Germany to an Irish mother and American father: http://www.independent.ie/sport/soccer/williams-out-to-match-dunnes-euro-exploits-2825820.html

(http://www.independent.ie/sport/soccer/williams-out-to-match-dunnes-euro-exploits-2825820.html)Looks like the American sawker boards are hoping they'll get him in a reverse Conor Doyle: http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1843081

Conor Doyle who we tried to 'poach' apparently. IFA and US Soccer should form a joint declaration to FIFA about this evil.

Unfortunately, statistically, if just one of those players goes on to represent the senior Ireland team on a regular level, we will have done very well there.

A decent read.. And it seems it could be just in time for Ireland too, with the new u19 league. Hopefully once the league is up and running we can get a couple participants into this competition. That would only help the LOI grow too

It was the starting line-up against Poland in the Elite Round. (http://www.uefa.com/under19/matches/season=2011/round=2000082/match=2004664/index.html)
