 Enough is Enough.

Anybody else catch the sports news on RTE 1 just now. SIX WORDS on Cork Citys QF in Europe. Count them - SIX! Not Seven but six mesely words.

Not one word on shels match in the eircom league - a potentially very important loss.

What are these *******s about. Why should i pay my TV licence.

They can show live hockey and have live sailing reports because the newscaster is on board.

Im just so mad

Lads, we can gripe and moan all we want about RTE but it wont change anything. It needs to be done properly to be effective, if it isn't it will be ignored and cast aside and then it wont have been worth the effort.

There is a petition being filled out at the moment. Good move but that should only be one aspect of it. AND you need every club to take part, along with junior clubs and schoolboys, everyone. That is the only way it is going to get enough signatures to be even considered.

For that you'd need a committee at each club at the very least.

You'd have to at least consult with www.bci.ie and and find out about the European braodcasting commission and where they stand (there are two AFAIK)

You'd have to approach TD's in everyones area and the results of their work/effort made know to everyone.

The FAI would have to take the finger out.

There is alot you can do alright but it would need people to get involved and working with everyone else. Could that ever happen ??
