Why don't the Italians play him?!

No shortage of quality keepers with Buffon and Toldo in the Squad. Do agree with Eanna though it's a real p*ss take that someone with no Welsh heritage who quite probably has never even been to Wales could be their next goalkeeper.

Toldo quit the Italian team after Euro2004, so Cudicini might make the Italian squad. They havent got that many other decent keepers playing first class football at decent clubs, Peruzzi (who was 3rd choice at Euro2004) is very old and has weight problems (he's about as wide as the Danube) Abbiati is 2nd choice at Milan and Pelizzoli (1st choice at Roma, and going to the Olympics) is q.dodgy. The only others are Serini and Chimenti and Cudicini is much better than both.
