Spot on! he's a quality act and only going to get better, 39 goals in 22 games is a ridiculous amount, not even Alan Barry got close to him this year

Shane Clarke is the best striker in town anyone who thinks otherwise hasn't a clue he was up against a lad who IMO should be toging out for Limerick fc pa mullins if he stays in junior football he will go down in years to come as prob the best centre half ever to play junior football in this town.

Pike local team and true A team are their B team, they will finish about 5th or 6th in D1A, that would be the quality of Pike if circumstances were differant.

Are some people for real?Local teams what absolute rubbish,that means if you have a top player say outside in coonagh he should refuse playing premier for example and continue playing Div 3 or whatever just cause its his local team.......Stop for god sake.Any club with any ambition will be scouting around to try and improve their squad its only common sense.And if Pike Boro View can get lads in from other leagues good luck to them,as ive said before if you are not happy playing these teams........go and play in a lower league.

In all fairness it was one poor game,balla didn't want to even come out of their half,once pike got 1st goal there was always only going to be 1 winner,big congratulations to Colm Enright who won junior player of the year,well deserved,

probably one of the poorest finals ever,though no one should be surprised at that.it turned out to be a very comfortable afternoon for pike,balla are just not good enough though in fairness to them they worked really hard to keep the score down by playing one up front and defending very deep,man marked tierney as well successfully it must be said.a stroll for pike once they scored but a shame their win was overshadowed by the constant time spent by one of their players on the ground.
