I'd be happy with Estonia, Montenegro & Turkey. Bosnia would be a tough game but not impossible. Thank God we're seeded. Makes things a little easier.

Estonia's stadium is called "le coq arena"... Roughly translated this means "an arena for Cox"... That'll do...

They'll all want us. I think we could take Estonia or Montenegro. Have grave doubts we'd beat the others over two legs.

Taking nothing for granted now though. Something from 2 years ago could drop off and **** us over yet

Bosnia or Estonia. Don't want Turkey and would prefer to avoid Montenegro.

ArdeeBhoy

Estonia. Because we'll qualify. The rest are minefields, probably literally somewhere in each.

Estonia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Turkey in that order.

So it'll be Turkey.

Estonia obviously. Any team that comes within three minutes of losing home and away to the Faroes has to be a boost in the play-off.

Turkey were poor in qualifying. Montenegro we know and I'd be ok with. Disappointed that late peno meant Bosnia and not the Czechs were unseeded; big difference between the two I think.

Going to be tough to get through obviously.

Estonia is where people go to find a mail order bride...so some of the luckier lads could maybe come home with a new wife if applicable.

I think we'd beat Estonia comfortably. They're clearly a dangerous side who are capable of upsetting far bigger nations and they won't be under any pressure from their public. However, I think we could win both legs.

I'd slightly fancy us over Montenegro. They have some terrific young talents like Savic and Jovetic and I honestly think they could boss the centre of midfield completely which will mean they'll give us a game like Armenia. However, I think we might just shade it if we avoid injuries and if we keep Shay, Dunne and Duffer fit. I would imagine that their squad hasn't as much strength in depth as us and if they lose their main players we should have enough.

Bosnia would be a 50-50 call, perhaps I'd call it in their favour. I watched their game in Paris and like all the Balkan teams they are technically brilliant and they have Dzeko up front. I don't know what their strength in depth is like, but I'd imagine it's slightly better than Montenegro.

I think Turkey would be favourites, though they don't seem to be playing well in the last few years. Perhaps, they scare me because of their reputation, but I think that big tournament experience is crucial in games like these. I think we could hold them scoreless in Turkey but I'd fancy them to score in Dublin. A repeat of 99 is a possibility.

the fact that almost all of our team were there 2 years ago should stand to us. Can't beat experience in these situations

Monetnegro for me.
I'd bite your hand off to get a team that Wales can beat!!!
Mind you I would bite both hands and a leg off to get a team the Faroe Islands can beat so I will change that to Estonia!!!
Turkey is for Christmas, not for play-offs!!

The dates for the games are 11/12th of November first legs. Second legs all on November 15th. That is Sunday/Monday/Thursday. Home and away will be by lottery unlike the world cup play-offs with seeded teams playing their second games at home.. And Uefa have still to offically confirm who the 4 seeded teams are (no matter what the FAI say).

We were ranked 5th of the play-off sides, just ahead of Bosnia but behind Turkey, have beating Andorra & Armenia got us into the top 4?

Estonia. We will not be able for anyone else. Bosnia, Turkey and Montenegro are all better footballing sides and would pass our dark ages formation off the park. So please, God of football, if your up there, Estonia please.

Actually been looking into it. Montenegro & Turkey are both handy sides, but not unbeatable.

In our case, it's more about which Ireland turns up...

The one that can't string 2 passes together and grinds out results, or the one that can't string 2 passes together and doesn't?

We only have the one gear my friend. Lump it forward and play ugly. It's against everything I love about the beautiful game, but do you know what? I don't care once we qualify.
