Obviously have to win this one. Actually believe the pitch and surroundings will help us. Trap and Tardelli have been spot on with their public comments this week about this game. They have given Andorra just enough respect. Don't care if it is 1-0 to us. Just get the three points. I fancy us to beat them 2 or 3 nil but any win will do.

Nervous but an early goal for us will help ease those nerves!

On pins and needles here as well, should be studying or sleeping but can't concentrate.

EDIT: An hour and a half and two separate stints trying to sleep later and still no luck :(

I'm going for 3-0

Whelan & Andrews to pass the ball forward
Doyle to get on the scoresheet.

Ward, Keane 2, Doyle, McGeady, Andrews.

2-1. We'll score first. Adrews with a bullet. We'll relax. They'll score. It'll be nervy for a while. Keane will get a poacher's goal with ten minutes to go and then we'll have ten minutes of very very nervous football before being saved by the final whistle

Double figures.....

Admitted to hospital with cardiac failure as Ireland labour to an injury time winner off Andy Kehoe's backside.

2-0 Ireland - St Ledger 15min, Keane 67min. Really cant see anything other than an Irish victory. Hopefully all will go smoothly

Expecting a low scoring game. I'd happily take a 1-0 and the 3 points. Hopefully Slovakia and Macedonia can do us a favour by winning their games.

I've seen some over positive predictions in my time but this one takes the p1ss

2-0 Ireland. Early Andrews effort through a crowd of bodies and substitute Long to seal it late on.

I'll be mildly disgusted if they score and increase their overall tally (2?) against us.

I'd have them ahead of Leim sa Speir anyday

3 points is all they really matters, will have more focus on the Slovakia/Russia game for tonight

In what is hopefully a good omen for tonight, I was looking in a shop window in central London this afternoon and I noticed that standing beside me, looking into the same shop, was Mick McCarthy and his wife. I said hi and that I was a big admirer. He was very charming and grateful, and we exchanged memories of his game in charge in Andorra.

I tell you what - the guy's as fit as a fiddle, very healthy looking. Wife was very pleased, a bit chuffed that Mick had a fan I think. I had already had 4 pints so I'm not sure I was as healthy looking as Mick.

That's the spirit!

Great to hear Mick is as sound in person as he comes across generally.

Well, maybe it was another tall, grey haired guy with a Yorkshire accent who remembered that he brought Gary Doherty on in place of David Connolly after only half an hour!

Ah that's just marvelous. Mick presented awards at my football club one night almost 20 years ago now. My father, if Mick's name comes up, will still mention how much of a gent he was and how he happily posed for as many photos as people wanted that night. The photo of me, him and my brother is one of my most prized possessions.

Starting to quiver a bit now about this match....Come on Ireland

Coleman not named among the subs, Lawrence preferred. McCarthy and Westwood missing through illness. Trap Out etc.

Subs: Forde, Kelly, Long, Fahey, Hunt, Cox, Lawrence

Wow that's an ugly subs bench. Would like to have seen McCarthy on there.

Anyone have a link to a live stream? Looks like I'll be stuck in the office.

Fahey has more experience than McCarthy and has already scored a couple for Ireland. Hasn't really put a foot wrong since making his debut.
McCarthy hasn't set the World alight this season so I'm happy enough with that bench. I'd have Long in ahead of Doyle to start though

Alright, settled in pub. Not many here, should get busier. Did Keith Andrews to score first only because Doyle was too short a price.

Ireland 3-0

Some day today. I was with the missus staring into a shop window in London when this looper came up to me and started talking about some Andorra game. Seemed to think I was Mick McCarthy! Anyway to cut a short story even shorter I gave him a fiver as he seemed a bit unsteady on his feet. Can't go anywhere these days without.......

Oddly enough I cannot (I can watch most anything I want on the 'net from the office). ESPN 3 asks me for my ISP which I don't know as it routes through our HQ.

I'd recommend just putting down Comcast and seeing if that works, I have Comcast and get ESPN3 so that should work.
