We had Fagan's in Malmo and O'Shea's in Nijmegen and they both worked great. It is brilliant to have the entire Rebel Army together in one pub on foreign soil so let's pick somewhere to base ourselves again this weekend.... what's it to be folks?

Malmo had only 1 irish pub so no choice.
Nijmegen had 2 but O'Sheas made best effort to attract city fans.
If someones got the time maybe could email the 3 pubs in Nantes 7 see if special drink price for city fans? ;)

O'Neils (http://oneils.free.fr)

Why did we choose the name "O'Neil's"? O'Neil's is a common sponsor of Irish sport and supports a lot of different teams, such as those of hurling (a very popular Irish sport). O'Neil's sounded great, so we decided to name our pub after it.

Could at least spell it correctly

"The pub opened in January 2002. It is situated at 5 rue Santeuil in the city center of Nantes in the West of France. The staff is composed of the barmaid Emmanuelle, the barman John, Karim, who is in charge of the security and the 2 owners, Dominique and Polo. The pub is open from 7 pm to 4 am all week bar Sunday"

JOHN McBYRNES is supposed to have a live trad session on Saturday nights.
Suss them out.
I'm sure they'll all open on Sunday if they smell a profit.
With 300+ City fans about the place there's enough of us to go around :D

Yeah, the Scottish bar was the job.
I agree. We don't have to stick to Irish bars, especially on the Saturday night (Irish bar be good after the game on Sunday alright) it would be nice to sample English, Scottish and local bars as we did in Copenhagen on the first night of our Malmo trip!
