lads if someone can get me a number for a charter i will try and organise it if according to some other posts. a 737 with roughly 180 seats at maybe 200 euros makes 36,000 should surely cover a day trip. i have 6 names already would nead to organise early so as if it fell through lads could organise alternative travel.

If it is €200 ... then i am there !!

http://www.charterauction.com web site quoted €28,300 for an aircraft large enough to carry 200 people. That works out at under €150 a head. And a charter flies when you want it to, so we can even get home that night, making it cheaper all round.

I'd deffo buy into a charter...only way I could go to the match.....as it would have to be a day trip

€200 is cheap....and the flight should be full ifd it goes ahead

What are the chances of this going ahead? I believe there would be huge deamand if it was advertised well.

I got onto the club and they said supporters should contact lee travel. E-mail address is jane@leetravel.ie and phone number is ++ 353 (0) 21 772 829

I also contacted the echo and redfm, they both said supporters should start asking lee travel to organise something asap.

guys, why not ring her yourself?

if Lee Travel are going to organise this last minute they'll need to see the interest is there from the city fans, let's show them that it is  :ball:

I reckon it'll be more like €350-€400 for a day trip through a travel agent. The egg chasing is usually about €400 for day trips(not that I ever went to watch that ****e)

I'd be interested in this aswell, as long as the price isn't too high. I e-mailed Jane too. No reply yet.

Heres hoping.

ya rang lee travel as well..this sounds like a decent plan....
I'd say if Lee organise it they will charge 350 at least while if we had more time and did it it ourselves we could get it for 250 easy.....hopefully this will work

from the Echo

Lee Travel are organising the squad’s travel to France. Declan O’Connell told today’s Evening Echo: “It would cost between €600 and €700 to travel, between flights, tickets and accommodation".

I was worried about that. It would make more sense for Lee travel to push this package, not the one day trip that most people here want to get.

Would be great to fly in and out on the same day.Surely something can be done for supporters by the club.Wouldn't mind paying a few hundread euro's for the trip.To much hassle trying to get flights, accomodation etc but a trip in and out on a charter would be great.

Lads , if one of you could contact Michael Caslin at 747Travel , Dublin...he is an expert in this field and if anyone can do this for circa. 200 he's your man...he might even throw in transfers to and from the ground.

A few people have been on to me to see if this flight is going ahead so I told them to ring Lee travel and give them numbers. Seems to be big interest in this flight so it'd be class if it went ahead
