while we dont wanna say this,it seems to be turning into the case that flyny is injury prone. while he has had his problems hereit seems he had them at peterborough as well

Will any English team really risk taking him on next season with this history?
Far bigger players have had transfers cancelled after medicals have shown up issues with the player.
While nobody would want a player ( particularly one as good as Flynny ) to have any type of bad luck............could this work in our favour????
He might struggle to get any decent clubs willing to take a chance on him.

The perfect example being Liam Coyle.

thats all well and good crow
we all love flynny and he is a great goalscorer
but just because we are an eircom league team,do we have to settle for an injury prone player that might play in only half the games a season
if aint good enough for them across the water,y should it be good enough for us
and before anybody picks this up the wrong way
THIS IS NOT AN ANTI-FLYNNY THREAD

Hold it.
O'Flynn is brilliant - pure and simple. He started our inter-toto crusade going after 5 mins against Malmo remember.
Peterborough i wouldnt have any respect for - how could they let him go? What kind of club mindset could allow a player of that ability to leave.
The same goes for O'Callaghan and Port Valve & Murphy and QPR.
For me its a reflection of the ills that afflict these clubs.

Whats this "just because we are an eircom league team".
The thing is to look after him properly. Ive seen him at matchs limping around for 20 minutes that shoudnt happen.

eircom league always seems to be happy with 2nd best which shouldnt be the case

well, just got the echo there and flynny is upbeat mood cos he has a 70% chance of making it
thats sh!t.its obvious he isnt right and shouldnt be risked
I don't think anyone knows whats really wrong with O'Flynn. maybe he needs to be sent off to a specialist abroad or something in close season?
