Just after Reading the match report and cousins decisions really are mind boggling. He continues to start a totally unfit keeper that was bound to get injured somewhere along the line so that was a wasted sub tonight as hunt should have been starting and he left dowling on the bench and played deans right back and he ended up getting sent off? Our back 4 has been muck recently but dowlings been the best of that back 4 and he dropped him? Just can't understand it and since when is jean a deep striker he's a target man no way should he be playing off purdy

apologises for not posting sooner I have had a busy two days since Limerick. Firstly what happened with Deans is that he went in for a tackle near the limerick dugout it was a yellow card thats all it was. Pat Scully started interferring in and the fourth official butted in and said that it was a red not a yellow. since when is the fourth official allowed to influence the game ? it was a joke deans being sent off.

I thought we played ok. Jeff Flood was man of the match on the pitch and will be the player to watch for next season. Nothing went past him. I am not sure with Rouse why hes playing Hunty should be in the team. Limerick had so many chances to score and it was really the last kick of the game. A super cross from Rory Gaffney when the town defence should have reacted quicker to block and the ball went over Hunts head to Denis Behan who headed into a empty net. It was awful hard luck as I thought we deserved a point. Limerick strongly got of jail. Austin Skelly was a big loss. Biansamba had a chance to score and missed. I dont rate him at all. Im intrigued with whats going on with Mick Lee. Why was he not in the squad?

Apparently Deans was sent off for stamping on the Limerick player after the initial foul.

While it's a very very rare occurance especially in the loi the 4th official does have the power to assist the referee or point out something he may have missed so if he dud stamp on him and the other officials missed it then that would make a lot of sense.
