I think the ref got Quigley decision right it was a dive. Should have been a free out for the Twigg challenge and it was a penalty barged in the back. Sligo Derry game looked decent.Two nice goals even if Derry's goal was going wide it was good approach play. Great to see Farren back. He got a great reception.

I watched Sligo - Derry live and it wasn't that good now tbh Rte seem to have a habitt of picking out poor games.

Was really looking forward to MNS tonight with FAI cup replays a 5-4, 6-1 and sone massive games in the title race (also it was highest scoring weekend) but it was awful the last 25 minutes was sh1te talk no highlights at all.

And what the fook was giles doing on right you wanted him for the Ireland talk that's fine bring him on then but during the LOI highlights why ask him questions If your going to get a response like 'i wouldn't know that much about these players' and 'i didn't see the game' when asked about the 5-4. I wonder is it even worth watching anymore.

As it's the only game in town, so to speak, I still watch it. But even as a diehard LOI fan, I'm not drawn to it. The ratio of analysis to highlights is overdone, and there is effectively no First Division coverage at all. A three minute roundup at the arse-end of the show is the usual fare...

This is typical of all football coverage in Ireland I think. And rugby too. Lots and lots of analysis. I'd take Kenny and Stuey Byrne over Dunphy and Houghton any day though.
