Why do clubs from outside Cork not play in the MSL ? A lot of clubs in Munster playing at junior level seem to be in the wrong grade as they constantly dominate at that level, Clonmel Town, St Michaels,Carrick Utd etc

Killarney Celtic joined the MSL a couple of years back but the cost of travelling etc meant they had to pull out. With all the clubs based in cork i dont think clubs like clonmel would enjoy travelling every second weekend to Cork but im sure if they applied to join the MSL they would be allowed. Especially with the number of clubs flding in the last few weeks

I also remember playing down in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford a few years back.
Good facilities there

Amateur soccer in Munster needs to be looked at.
There are plenty of "junior" teams throughout Munster that are senior standard and better.

Carrick won the Munster Senior Cup last year for instance.

I'd like to see a MFA amateur league in place with the best sides involved.
The present system is a joke in some competitions where MSL junior teams come up against Carrick etc.

Also to my mind there is no difference between standards of the FAI Junior and Intermediate Cups at the business end.
Why do we nedd 2 so ???

There was a time when Thurlus Town and Limerick United both played in MSL. Dungarvan, Tralee and Killarney followed as well.
