Cork at home in the Cup...

At least it'll test out thet theory that we're being brought down to the First Division standard and can up our game against better teams...

Date is provisionally 23th July, but depends on Cork beating NEC in the InterToto.

    So it could be earlier?
You can't spell failure without FAI

Not the best draw we could have got, would have preferred the likes of Ringmahon Rangers or one of those other teams I've never heard of.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.

IF we beat NEC we'd be playing Nantes the next 2 weekends. I don't think the club would want to play a tough away FAI cup game in the middle of those games.

Irish Times is talking it up as about the tie of the round - not too surprisingly I suppose as no Premier side has drawn another Premier side. Pete Mahon's quoted as saying he's looking forward to it and how you always want to play the best in the country, before the article finishes with saying this could be a possible upset.

Pete Mahon as positive and upbeat as ever. http://www.eleven-a-side.com/ucd/iri...p?newsid=12296

That's grand! The day Pete Mahon starts talking us up is the day I get worried!
