The second round draw of the FAI Carlsberg Cup will take place on Monday evening (July 5th), with the 22 eircom League sides to be joined by 10 non-league sides, a list which includes junior side Portmarnock for the third time in four years.

Portmarnock held Dundalk to a draw in the Cup three years ago, while last time around they went down to a narrow 1-0 defeat at the hands of eventual First Division champions Dublin City.

However, the FAI Junior Cup champions of the past three years, Fairview Rangers, will not be in the hat this time around – they lost out to Leinster Senior League side Wayside Celtic in the first round.

The draw, which will be held in Dublin’s Gravity Bar, will be covered live on RTE’s Six-One news on Monday evening.

The 10 intermediate and junior clubs which will join the eircom League clubs are: Carrick United, Drumcondra, Glebe North, Leeds, Portmarnock, Quay Celtic, Ringmahon Rangers, Rockmount, Tullamore, Wayside Celtic.
