the first stage proper of the 2004 tour de france is from liege to CHARLEROI on sunday afternon 4 th july.
ive been to the tour in france so you can expect very heavy traffic in the charleroi area (including roads blocked off etc).

factor this into your travel plans.
btw it will be from charleroi on monday to namur so it will be busy monday as well !!!!!!.

sure we've all seen it, it came through Cork a few years back ;) :D

no, it'd be good to catch it, the hangovers might slow us down though

lads, its a much bigger show when its on the continent mainland.the parade of vehicles giving out the freebies before the race goes through is about 5 times as big.

you could all meet up at the finish/start in charleroi and then you would be guarenteed to be on eurosport.what a sight that would be :D
