Just a kinda same note,, In todays star paper there was a big article about conor murphy and how he would like to try again in england,,alot of people have been watching conor lately,,, two days ago we sign another striker,, is something happening with conor behind the scenes...????

Could just be that we need a striker that puts the ball in the net regulary, or could be an A team signing. Think if conor does go gary shaw is more than capable of filling the gap

Agree totally,, gary is more than capable to take over but bray normally state if it is a 'A' team or u19 signing and this time they only said wanderers signing, it could be only nit picking with words....

AFAIK he is a signing for the 1st team squad, well he has been training with them for a few weeks as opposed to the A side.

Personally i can't see what all the hype is with Murphy. Watched him a load of times now and he seems to be less and less interested everytime i see him. Ever since he went off with Ireland the first time he hasn't had a good game for us. If the club can get decent money for him then defo snap the hand off who ever is offering.

Agree 100% roo, even when on the good run he went on felt he missed too many easy chances. Has potential to be a good striker but seems a bit like zayed when he was with us, could take a lesson in grafting from the front from mulroy
